You will join a team central to F5s mission within the cloud and edge. Our team provides a robust foundation servicesfor F5s Distributed Cloud platform in a secure and scalable manner. Help provide a platform that is used across F5s microservices.Primary ResponsibilitiesImplement all phases of the development cycle for a software product from understanding requirements going through design development and deployment phasesWork collaboratively with geographically distributed teamsEngage with Product Management architects and other technical peers to ensure we are delivering the right things.Design and develop platform capabilities within distributed and cloud architecturesKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesExperience in designing and implementing solutions for complex large-scale problems for distributed systems in SaaS environmentExtensive hands-on experience in multiple computer programming languages such as Golang C/C PythonDeep expertise and experience in Kubernetes development e.g. controllers CRD designExperience with Object Modeling and GRPC/Protobuf REST microservices and code generationThe candidate should be self-motivated and willing to delve into new areas and take new challenges in a proactive manner.Good understanding and experience with synchronization conceptsWorking knowledge of virtualization technologies such as KVM or DockerWorking knowledge of public cloud technologies and associated orchestration technologiesExperience delivering software with agile and lean software developmentThe candidate is expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Qualifications8 years professional development experienceBS/BA or MS in Computer Science/related field or equivalent work experience.#LI-ZB1The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
