IT Asset Management Specialist at Hibu

Were looking for a detail-oriented professional to oversee and maintain a complete view of all company-owned technology assetsconnecting hardware software assigned users and organizational details like division and this role youll manage the full lifecycle of end-user hardware from procurement through disposal using our CMDB tool and authoritative data sources. Youll collaborate closely with technology teams and employees across all levels of the organization to ensure accuracy efficiency and seamless asset management.What Youll DoMaintain IT hardware and software asset tracking data in the ITSM toolReconcile CMDB data when discrepancies arise between CMDB discovery information and other authoritative production data repositoriesSupport the design development and implementation of automated processes for gathering populating and maintaining CMDB dataAssist with lifecycle analysis to determine asset replacement needs based on age condition and performanceAssist with developing a budget for a 5-year replacement plan for end-user devicesReceive IT equipment delivered to Hibu locations log deliveries store securely conduct periodic inventories and log equipment distributionMonitor asset utilization and ensure assets not in use are recovered inventoried relocated or disposed of per company policies and proceduresEnact system audit practices and conduct audits to ensure data integrityRecommend configuration management procedures and standards for CMDB usageCommunicate CMDB activities to enhance awareness of processes and standardsDevelop an IT asset lifecycle management plan and processWork with vendors on warranty replacementsMay provide leadership coaching or mentoring to other tech teamsMay also participate in a hands-on physical inventory of IT assetsKey Skills & CompetenciesExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to work with minimal supervision in a technical environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills are a must; ability to read write and speak in a professional mannerSuperior customer service and teamwork abilitiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsMust possess a personal sense of urgencyAbility to effectively multitask and adapt to changing business prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel Word Outlook)IT infrastructure knowledgeSkill RequirementsSound decision-making abilitiesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to work with other teamsPreferred SkillsBachelors degree or equivalent education and experienceAudit and expense management experienceProject management skills#LI-ONSITE#LI-AG1IND10Working with us means joining a team of truly extraordinary people working to improve communities across the country.
