Job Title: Sr. Specialist Program ManagementJob Code: 32028Job Location: Carlsbad CAJob Schedule: 9/80; Every other Friday offJob Description: L3Harris is seeking a strong Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the execution of programs for the NextGen Tactical Datalinks (Link 16) business area. The Program Manager is responsible for the cost schedule resourcing and performance of assigned programs by leading teams including Product Line/Program Management Engineering Operations Contracts Legal Finance Quality Security and others. Program Managers are expected to demonstrate team building leadership and communication skills by building relationships of trust with their teams customers peers and leadership and to effectively communicate with confidence including regular presentations and status updates to leadership.Essential Functions: Develop and execute program plans that include schedules milestones procurement logistics and resource allocation.Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial (P&L) objectivesActs as primary contact for program activities leading program review sessions discuss cost schedule technical performance and risk.Manage external relationships with the Government Prime Contractors and International customersLeads Program Risk Management to identify and mitigate risks that could impact program technical cost and schedule performance.Responsible for budget management and financial execution of the programDevelop and manage accurate programmatic and financial forecastsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Ensure compliance with all regulatory safety and company policies and procedures.Qualifications: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience or 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.Ability to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.Ability to travel up to 25%Preferred Additional Skills: Knowledge of Link 16 Tactical Datalinks and productsExperience managing programs using EVMS principles Experience managing cross-functional product-based programs for the Government DoD Primes and International CustomersExperience with multiple phases of the program capture & execution lifecycle (Bid & Proposal Development Production Sustainment) Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skillsIn compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in CaliforniaMassachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is $104500 -$193500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota NewYork state Cleveland Ohio and Vermont is $90500 - $168500. This is not a guarantee ofcompensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited toexperience and geographic location.
