This position is located in Linthicum, MD.This IPT Lead will be required to lead an engineering team working to transition designs to production for a very important sector priority program with many time-critical elements and high management visibility. They will interface with personnel in the Factor Test Cells, Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance.  In addition, they will brief internal and potentially external customer leadership on progress.These roles are contingent upon candidates having a current, Active government Secret Clearance.These roles are contingent upon Program Award.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or STEM-related degree, with 14 years of industry experience, or master’s degree and 12 years of industry experience. An additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.Active and current Secret government clearanceExperience with Front End Design (FED), RF Electronics, RF Cabling, COTS procurement and testing, and System CablingExperience with hardware design and/or hardware integration & test and/or experience moving hardware through the BWI factoryDemonstrated proficiency in Control Account Manager (CAM) activities and the Earned Value Management system (EVMS)Fluency with developing and executing project schedulesExperience reporting project status to program, functional management and/or customersDemonstrated leadership skills with 1.5 years minimum experience as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, program manager or other leadership position leading engineers supporting a program or business functionAvailable onsite at the BWI facility during first shiftMechanically focused engineer with experience making drawing updates and pushing drawing through processPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to plan, execute and lead a hardware team to meet cost, schedule and technical performanceLeadership of multi‑site or multi‑sector IPTsExperience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, IBM Rational DOORS)Experience supporting Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and proposalsExperience with REX (receiver/exciter) through design or integration and test, Antenna Subsystem, and/or general RF Integration and test for hardwareExperience identifying and quantifying risks/opportunitiesExperience working with Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Material ProcessingExperience with the Root Cause Correction Action (RCCA) processExperience managing products in the critical path of a programExperience with LRU/LRM Integration and testing for an EMD product transitioning to production PMP certification a plusActive and current Top Secret government clearance a plusMS-250SURGEPrimary Level Salary Range: $184,100.00 - $276,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
