Our teams are based in the US.Job DescriptionRoles/ResponsibilitiesOwn application deployment and production readiness in GE Healthcares cloud environment.Drive Improvements in overall system readiness and fleet health through service monitoring and automated response.Develop high quality well-engineered and thoroughly tested code in Java.Participate in software design reviews conduct peer code reviews and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team.Design implement test deploy and maintain innovative software solutions with an emphasis on performance durability cost and security.Collaborate with stakeholders across GE Healthcare to make our cloud-based applications the easiest to deploy simplest to integrate and most robust solutions in the industry.Minimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline8 years of professional software development experience5 years of experience in *nix (Linux / Posix) including networking fundamentals3 years of experience in Production Engineering or SRE type or similar roles.Experience with Internet service architecture including REST APIs gateways load balancing etc.Experience with common Internet authentication protocols including OAuth.Experience running and configuring Cloud infrastructure e.g. Kubernetes and Terraform.We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.Desired Qualifications8 years of experience with big data systems analytics containerized microservices serverless functions and event-driven architecture2 years working directly with end customers to assess needs identify solutions and constructively resolve disagreementsExperience deploying and managing highly available infrastructure on AWS.Eligibility RequirementsGE HealthCare may choose to sponsor visas as business needs dictate.Ability to work in the Waukesha office on an as needed basis without travel accommodations. For U.S. based positions only the pay range for this position is $162840.00-$244260.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills qualifications experience and addition this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
