Sr. Systems Analyst - Infor FSM at United Rentals

Great opportunities.If you'd like the chance to make your mark with the world's largest equipment rental provider, come build your future with United Rentals!As a Sr. Systems Analyst - Corporate Apps, you will analyze business requirements; analyze, design, develop and test of enhancements to IT systems with a heavy focus on Infor FSM Cloudsuite tools and provide systems support.What you'll do:Solicit, assess and prioritize user requests for system enhancements. Write business and technical requirements for developmentDiscuss desired changes with business units and prepare business and technical requirements accordinglyArchitect and define sustainable and scalable solutions for design, development and implementationOversee development and implementation of system enhancements, inclusive of internal as well as third party resourcesAct as the technical point of contact for a broad range of topics from users, ranging from simple to complexAnalyze and validate user errors or issuesPerform root cause analysisProvide response and/or resolution to issues, engaging IT resources as neededWork with external vendors to support integration buildsBuild new, modify and support existing integrationsReview programmer specsStrategize on approach to align best case solution with requirementsTest new or modified application functionality, verifying business and technical requirements. Work with business leads to complete user acceptance testingPerform tests to avoid performance issues, including any effects from system developmentProvide ongoing support to ensure integrations continue to meet business needsImplement reporting tools and analysis to support site governance and provide business owners with analyticsCreate and maintain technical documentation including: support knowledge base, data sources, data flows, application logic, enhancement/issue logs, hardware/software architecture, Information architecture, Standard Operating Procedures, DR plan, and other project documentsFollow and research industry trends and performs best-practice research to support project goalsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in IT, Science or Business3+ years' experience with Infor OS application and data tools including:IPA (Infor Process Automation)Infor IONLPL (Landmark Pattern Language)Infor OS Data FabricAbility to interact with and influence IT and business stakeholdersExcellent verbal/written communication skillsStrong documentation skills and analytically orientedSQL programming skillsExperience with application programming frameworks (APIs, JSON, XML, etc...), database systems (SQL Server, DB2)Why join us?We don't just "talk the talk!"
