Federal and state tax preparation and compliance, ASC 740 tax provisions, and indirect tax reporting. Responsibilities to include preparing federal and state tax preparation and estimated payments Specific job duties include maintaining tax records/books, preparation of multiyear tax projections and financial analysis, and preparation of estimate tax payment calculationsHandle quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions calculations Responsible for indirect tax compliance, including; sales & use and property Assisting with research and planning to determine the tax impact of current and proposed activities and transactionsImplementing strategies to minimize tax liability in accordance with current law or proposed tax legislationMaintain and update tax depreciation schedulesWork with the accounting department on book and tax transactions and conceptsCoordinate with the legal and accounting departments regarding the organization and dissolution of entitiesMonitor the status of tax return compliance to ensure deadlines are metFiling annual informational returns and ensuring applicable fees are paidUpdate and maintain the tax compliance calendarQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field3 – 5 years of experience in income tax, either in public accounting or in-house corporate tax departmentStrong knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws and regulationsFamiliarity with income tax provisions (ASC 740) and tax compliance processes is an advantageExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsActive CPA licenseInterested in hearing more?
