Title: Test Engineer Pay Rate Range: $70.00 $100.00/hr DOE Employment Type: Contract Full-Time Schedule: 9/80 - Monday Thursday 7:30 AM 5:00 PM; Friday varies (off every other Friday) Location: Gilbert AZ Job Code: 1869 Tekberry is seeking a highly skilled and driven Test Engineer to join our client a global leader in aerospace defense and space system technologies. This role will be 100% onsite supporting Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) development test execution and integrated test automation for spacecraft components. Responsibilities Support the design development assembly and manufacturing of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for Moog hardware. Develop automated test systems including software instrumentation control hardware interfaces schematics and supporting documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally with Systems Software Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams to meet program milestones and test requirements. Create LabVIEW virtual instruments (VIs) for COTS test equipment control data monitoring and user interface execution. Develop Python scripts to automate and coordinate test execution including interaction with VxWorks and LabVIEW. Support integration and troubleshooting of embedded test software SBC systems and FPGA test interfaces. Generate and maintain design documentation-assembly drawings schematics bills of materials-within Moog document control systems. Author formal test documentation including Integration & Test Plans Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and Environmental Test Plans. Participate in schedule planning engineering reviews and continuous test improvement efforts. Provide hands-on support for system debug hardware bring-up and execution of qualification and acceptance testing. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related STEM field. Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience. Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: LabVIEW Python or C. Experience developing software for automated test systems and instrument communication. Strong understanding of hardware test principles instrumentation data acquisition and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics assembly drawings and engineering documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Visio preferred. Self-directed organized and capable of managing assignments with ownership and urgency. Ability to work 100% onsite in Gilbert AZ. Preferred Experience Test system development for spacecraft avionics or high-reliability aerospace hardware. VxWorks software integration experience. Familiarity with FPGA test development and VHDL.
