Summary:We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to establish and lead our UX research practice at Jewelers Mutuals UX Team. As our first UX research hire youll build the foundation for how we understand our customers both consumers and jewelry professional by conducting strategic research that shapes product direction. Youll partner closely with our product designers and their squads where designers are already conducting lightweight research and eager for your expertise. Other duties may be assigned.Lead Strategic ResearchDesign and execute user research studies (qualitative and quantitative) that inform product strategy and uncover new opportunitiesIdentify and prioritize high-leverage research initiatives by partnering with designers and product teamsSelf-direct your work to focus on research that drives the greatest business and user impactBuild Research PracticeCreate and maintain a research repository for team-wide access to findingsEstablish research best practices processes and templates for both in-person and remote research leveraging virtual tool and onsite design lab.Leverage participant recruitment systems and scheduling workflows that scale as the team growsDeliver Actionable InsightsSynthesize findings into clear actionable recommendations through compelling storytellingCommunicate research effectively across product teams and stakeholder groups.Document findings in the research repository for ongoing team accessPartner & EnableMentor UX Designers in research methods and support their research effortsBuild trusted relationships with designers product teams and stakeholdersCollaborate with the UX Researcher (joining in 2026) on complex studies and their developmentIdentifies Opportunities: Brings to light journey-driven opportunities for improvement or new productsQualifications:4-6 years of conducting UX research in-houseBachelors degree or equivalent education/and or experience in UX research or similar will be considered.Direct experience conducting design research across different types of methodologies (qualitative quantitative exploratory generative)Highly skilled in qualitative research methodsAbility to think strategically regarding the application of data and researchStrong problem-solving capabilities turning constraints into opportunitiesDetail-oriented and able to work independently.Ability to communicate research insights in compelling memorable ways that drive clear actionAbility to understand and relate to users needs and perspectivesA talent for identifying opportunities in user flowsAbility to forge strong partnerships with product managers designers and cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to prioritize time between multiple projects and be flexible adapting to changing prioritiesEager to continue in development of research skills to the highest standards including clear articulation of research objectives thoughtful selection of methods rigorous synthesis and engaging and precise communication of findingsWhat We Offer You:Competitive Compensation & Benefits:Includes performance bonuses generous paid time off and a top-tier retirement program with 401(k) matching and additional company contributions.Collaborative Culture: Work alongside talented passionate peers who value ownership and continuous learning.Community & Giving: Benefit from 50% charitable gift matching and paid volunteer time to support nonprofit causesGreat Place to Work Certified: Join a team recognized for an environment of innovation and growth.Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Intelligence Community Experience,Python,Spss,Microsoft Word,R,Regression Analysis,Windows,Stata,Microsoft Powerpoint,Research Experience,Data Modeling,Writing Skills Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Marketing Experience: years Vacancy: 1
