Visit to learn more about our company clients and career opportunities.Job Description:The Staff Accountant will report to the Director of Accounting in a key role within the General Ledger team for WeDriveU and will be responsible for managing a high volume of lease fixed asset and other general ledger transactions as well as fleet inquiries and monthly close process execution.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage lease and fixed asset areas to keep an accurate record of all transactions.Prepare monthly account reconciliations for fixed assets.Communicate with asset management and payables departments to ensure new transactions and payments are accurately recorded.Assist in monthly semi-annual and annual close process and financial statement preparation ensuring proper documentation and supporting detail is maintained.Maintain fixed assets depreciation and vehicle leasing schedules.Additional duties and responsibilities may apply.Skills Required and Physical Demands:Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills with ability to work independently.Strong knowledge of accounting and familiarity with journal entries and account reconciliations.Ability to use multiple systems including NetSuite Tipalti Microsoft Suite and Google Docs.Ability to evaluate and prioritize workload while meeting tight deadlines.Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to grow into additional complexity and responsibility.Excellent detail orientation including ability to effectively operate in a high volume transactional environment.Additional skills and physical demands may apply.Education and Qualifications:Hard requirementsThis role requires a strong knowledge of accounting and Excel.
