Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
- Generate and deliver financial reports with clear explanations of variances
- Track financial activity, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrections
- Maintain thorough documentation for transactions in compliance with internal controls and policies
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support accurate reporting and data integrity
- Complete additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with BlackLine, Microsoft Dynamics, or Smartsheet is a plus
- Background in construction industry accounting is a plus
- Public accounting experience is a plus
