Accounting Specialist/Office Manager - PowerNation

We're looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys variety and wants to make an impact. This role is much more than traditional accounting. You'll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day financial operations running smoothly while supporting the overall success of our office. Duties/Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Accounting & Financial Operations:
    • Contract Management: Verify contract worksheets, log new contracts, track contracts, and execute contract invoicing.
    • Accounts Receivable & Revenue: Post cash receipts, deposit checks, and invoice digital revenue as needed.
    • Accounts Payable: Process AP invoices in Doc Agent and send invites/onboard new vendors.
    • Month-End Close & Reporting: Prepare AR receivable spreadsheets and calculate month-end AR/AP accruals. Complete digital expense reports and post digital revenue true-ups for AVOD, SVOD, and Merchandise. Complete Sales Tax Reporting
  • Human Resources & Payroll Coordination:
    • Talent Administration: Review offer letters, handle job postings, conduct new hire orientation, and onboard new employees.
    • Payroll & Timekeeping: Administer employee/payroll changes and verify timecards and PTO.
    • Employee Relations: Lead employee engagement activities (activities, gifts, lunches, etc.) and promote corporate wellness initiatives.
    • Compliance & Admin: Manage and maintain secure employee records, verify/maintain necessary employment posters, and set up and process temporary employees.
  • General Office Administration & Operations:
    • Facilities & Logistics: Manage office supply orders, mail, and shipping/receiving.
    • Media Support: Schedule commercials and send post logs as required.
    • Legal Compliance: Log and scan legal documents for retention; create and submit clip licenses.
    • Fleet & Travel: Manage vehicle registrations, fuel cards, and handle SEMA roster, hotel, and air travel coordination.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years of accounting and office administration experience preferred. Core Skills: Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; accounting software experience preferred. Professionalism: Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
