We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips.Expected work schedule for the Staff Care Manager:Full- or part-time, flexible scheduleOccasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projectsAttendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff RetreatsPay structure for a Staff Care Manager:Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expensesTraining is provided to develop a team of ministry partnersPay range is typically between $34,278 and $90,000 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factorsStaff Care Manager Benefits:Paid vacation, sick, holidays, and more (once eligible)Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for eligible staffFlexible hours and work-from-home availabilityStaff care to support mental, social, and spiritual health for all staffAbout the area and Responsibilities of a Staff Care ManagerThe Staff Care Manager is responsible for providing pastoral care to locations and individual staff through creating opportunities to regularly pray as well as providing resources to support the spiritual, mental and social health of staff.The Staff Care Manager will (list not all inclusive):Recruit and supervise staff care team membersAttend trainings, network with other faith-based student organizations, and read books to research programs/activities for staff care at IFICollaborate with department heads, location leaders, and individuals to Identify staff care needs and develop initiatives to address those needsWork with team to create calendar of staff care activities, initiatives, and resources for IFI as a whole organizationDevelop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry, ensuring minimum monetary standards are achieved, partner care, and sending out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partners Qualifications needed of a Staff Care Manager, including Spiritual CharacteristicsAdherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policiesIs faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mission from the Lord to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international students out of reverence for JesusWell organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independentlyHas a shepherd's heart for Internationals, a teachable and submissive spirit, and spiritual maturityCommitted to sharing faith in the context of personal relationships and investing deeply in students' livesProficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applicationsEducation/Experience Preferred for a Staff Care Manager:Minimum of a Bachelor degree3+ years' ministry experience, including working with and building multicultural teamsAt least 2 years of experience leading a team, including providing oversight for fundraising expectations and performance evaluationsCertificate-level completion of Perspectives on the World Christian movement is preferred, and, if not existent, should be completed within three years of employment with IFI.Cross-cultural ministry experience preferred International Friendships, Inc.
