A successful candidate will be comfortable designing and maintaining both on-premise and cloud infrastructure including local development environments and full CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of information security best practices will be considered a plus. The candidate will be working closely with a diverse team consisting of cryptographers mathematicians ML experts and physicists where they will be collaborating together in delivering novel solutions.What Youll DoWork with teams of developers and cryptographers to integrate their research advancements into new productsDevelop and maintain tooling for interacting with the various deployments set up local development environment and maintain a complex code baseWork across on-premise cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures to deliver fully functional productsDesign scalable and fault-tolerant architecture for cloud deploymentsEnsure high-quality deliverables by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and concise documentationContribute to delivering AQtive Guard for FedRAMP complianceWho You AreUS Citizenship and/or security clearance is required due to USG contract requirementsStrong experience using building and maintaining infrastructure in AWSStrong experience managing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and KubernetesExperience defining infrastructure and processes as code through Terraform and managing CI systemsStrong experience with a few scripting languagesExpertise building large-scale distributed systemsAbility to containerize and automate deployments and tests using CI/CD pipelinesAbility to work in a small team/rapid prototyping environment and deal with uncertainty and fluidityUnderstanding of standard IT security best practicesNice to HavesExperience with compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2 ISO 27001 or FedRAMP).Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or PuppetKnowledge of security-related concepts and technologiesFamiliarity with BazelFamiliarity with streaming frameworks especially Kafka and KstreamsThe US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $183k to $256k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
