Staff Pharmacist at Beach Pharmacy Inc

Independent pharmacy seeking a motivated and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care while helping expand clinical services such as MTM and CPESN care programs. This pharmacist will work closely with patients, providers, and pharmacy staff to optimize medication therapy and achieve measurable health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accurate dispensing of prescription medications and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services including comprehensive medication reviews, targeted interventions, and documentation
• Participate in CPESN care programs including adherence monitoring, medication synchronization, and clinical quality measures
• Identify and resolve medication-related problems and collaborate with prescribers to optimize therapy
• Support and document clinical interventions tied to CPESN care goals such as adherence, statin use, diabetes management, and care coordination
• Counsel patients on medications, disease states, and preventive health strategies
• Assist with implementation of new clinical services and quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of clinical services and outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Active pharmacist license in Mississippi
• Strong interest in community pharmacy clinical services and patient-centered care
• Experience with MTM platforms preferred
• Familiarity with CPESN programs or value-based pharmacy care is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Experience

• Five or more years of post graduate experience preferred but not require
• Previous community pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and patient counseling
• Familiarity with medication synchronization and adherence programs
• Experience with clinical pharmacy services and quality-based care programs such as Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network preferred but not required
• Strong immunization and patient care services experience preferred
• Compounding experience preferred but not required
