Candidates should be comfortable working in a community pharmacy setting with variable retail hours.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform dispensing verification and patient counseling in a community pharmacy environmentManage daily pharmacy operations including inventory control ordering and workflow optimizationSupport 340B program compliance and accurate medication procurement processesProvide education to patients caregivers and community members on medication use and safetyCoordinate with prescribers and clinic staff to ensure continuity of careMaintain accurate records documentation and regulatory complianceAddress insurance prior authorization and medication access issuesUphold quality safety and customer-service standardsQualificationsGraduate of an accredited pharmacy program (BS Pharmacy or PharmD)Active Utah Pharmacist LicenseControlled Substance Authorization (CSA)Previous community/retail pharmacy experience preferredStrong communication customer service and computer skillsWork Environment & ScheduleThis is a 13-week 40-hours/week assignment based in southeastern Utah supporting a community/retail pharmacy associated with a regional healthcare system.
