What youll do:Design develop and maintain high-performance reliable and scalable backend systems for private profiles user blocking and other user safety featuresCollaborate with front-end developers UX/UI designers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality productsMentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementParticipate in code reviews architectural discussions and technical roadmap planningWhat were looking for:8 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineeringBachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experienceExpertise in programming languages such as Python Java Go or Extensive experience with RESTful API design and developmentExperience with front-end developmentBachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related fieldStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable high-performance systemsIn-Office Requirement Statement:This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/per quarter and therefore can be situated in our offices in either Bay Area Seattle New York or Los Angeles.Relocation Statement:This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
