Your passion for simplicity and innovation will help deliver best-in-class user experiences, and you will drive both the design and execution needed to stay ahead of the competition.In this role you will:Lead and drive design for a vertical, focusing on enhancing both new and existing customer experiencesOwn the end-to-end design process, ensuring customer-centric solutions that resonate with both new and seasoned usersCollaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to drive innovative design solutions that meet both user and business needsEstablish and maintain a high standard of design craft across the ecosystem, ensuring excellence in visual design, interaction design, and usabilityDrive product-led growth through design, by delivering impactful and intuitive product experiences that promote user adoption, engagement, and satisfactionContribute to the continuous improvement of the Design System, refining and evolving it to scale with the platform’s growthAct as a mentor and leader to other designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and design excellence across the teamParticipate in and lead design critiques, product discussions, and pair-designing sessions to collaboratively shape the design directionCommunicate complex design concepts clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadershipWhat you'll need:7+ years of experience in product design, including significant experience working on cross-functional teamsA proven track record of delivering outstanding design solutions for complex products with a customer-centric mindsetStrong portfolio showcasing expertise in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture, with experience in user research, journey mapping, and persona developmentDeep understanding of modern design tools and processes, including experience with Figma and other design & research toolsExperience working with and contributing to Design Systems in a collaborative environmentExceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present and advocate for design decisions across the organizationStrong problem-solving abilities, able to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to deliver impactful design solutionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment, with a passion for advancing design craft and pushing the envelope of innovationBonus points for:Experience in futures trading, financial markets, or investment platforms is a huge plusCompensation:The salary range for this role will be $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 12%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 23 days per year plus seven paid holidays.Location:This role is based in Chicago, IL. *There may be remote flexibility for exceptional candidates in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, Wisconsin.Hybrid:For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
