CAD Drafting Technician Fairport NY (On-Site) Schedule: Full-Time M F 8:00am 4:30pm Travel: 5% (local to Fairport & Rochester sites) Reports To: Lucas Coolidge Facilities Engineering Supervisor Duration: Full-time 40 hrs/week - 13-month assignment (through December 27 2026) ITAR Required: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national Interview Process 1. Onsite Interview with Panel Position Summary The CAD Drafting Technician will support a multi-site manufacturing environment by producing accurate AutoCAD documentation of existing facilities infrastructure utilities equipment and project modifications. This role partners closely with the Facilities Engineering team and requires strong on-site field documentation skills. Key Responsibilities Create and update AutoCAD drawings for site plans layouts architectural/structural details MEP systems and process equipment documentation. Produce isometric drawings schematics and MEP-related details. Maintain drafting files directories revision history and drawing standards. Convert contractor redlines into accurate as-built drawings. Conduct field surveys and verify existing conditions. Prepare documentation using Excel Word PowerPoint Adobe etc. Provide occasional project and administrative support.
