Job Title: Staffing Drafting/CAD Technician II Location: Corning NY Onsite Full Time Assignment: 17 Months Job Summary The Drafting/CAD Technician II serves as the Document Control Clerk within the Engineering Departments Workplace Services team. This onsite position ensures engineering project success by maintaining organizing and distributing technical documentation and CAD drawings across all project phases. The role supports seamless collaboration among internal teams and external stakeholders through strict document control processes. Strong technical skills attention to detail and effective communication are essential to ensure project materials are accurately managed accessible and securely archived. Key Responsibilities - Centralize and manage all project documentation drawings and technical files for the Engineering Department - Maintain both digital and physical libraries of technical drawings and records - Coordinate documentation transfers and updates with vendors contractors and internal stakeholders - Distribute project files using document systems email and hard copy methods - Operate large-format multifunction printers for accurate blueprint and document production - Print package and mail hard copies of drawings as requested - Receive file and manage CAD files within the Information Management System - Organize current and legacy storage locations for optimal accessibility - Support and enhance the document control system and related processes - Maintain detailed records of drawing inventories revisions and archiving - Identify and resolve documentation issues with accuracy and efficiency Key Skills Customer Service,Growing Experience,ATS,Basic Math,HR Sourcing,Interviewing,Microsoft Outlook,Microsoft Word,Microsoft Powerpoint,Customer relationship management,Human Resources,Recruiting Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
