PAG supports operators in the Airline Business and General Aviation (BGA) Military and Rotary Wing markets through its Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) business model.JOB PURPOSEOur Starter Generator technicians use knowledge skills experience and good judgement to perform maintenance repair and overhaul tasks on assigned aircraft starter generator components to produce a reliable quality airworthy product at a budgeted cost and turn time while providing the highest quality workmanship for all work accomplished. Previous aviation experience is valued but not required.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Functions include:Use drill press lathe soldering iron to troubleshoot and repair aviation starter generator components.Read and interpret schematics and technical ordersComplete all required paperwork related to repairs performedMaintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basisIdeal candidates will offer:Previous experience in a mechanical oriented position.Previous experience working with starter generators preferred.Ability to work in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and pride in performing quality work.Ability to read and/or hear and comprehend written and/or verbal instructions provided in English.Visual acuity and manual dexterity to work with and on small tools and parts in a bench environment; push/pull up to 80 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs routinely.Work Location: 495 Lake Mirror Road Atlanta GA 30349Experience: At least 1 plus year of related experience as a Technician or related field preferred.We offer competitive pay and a wide variety of benefits.
