Sterile Processing Coordinator Temp to Perm Elmhurst IL Company: TOPTAL CARE Inc A Certified Diversity Supplier in Healthcare Staffing Location: Elmhurst Illinois Contract Type: Temp to Perm Start Date: ASAP End Date: 13 Weeks from Start (Temp to Perm) Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp to Perm) Schedule: 3rd Shift 11:00 PM 7:30 AM No On-Call Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week OT Policy: Weekly OT after 40 hours (with prior approval) About The Role TOPTAL CARE Inc is seeking a Sterile Processing Coordinator for a 13-week travel contract in Elmhurst Illinois. This night shift leadership position is ideal for experienced and certified sterile processing professionals ready to oversee and coordinate the central sterile supply operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily sterile processing workflow and production activities. Decontaminate assemble sterilize and distribute surgical instruments and trays. Ensure strict compliance with infection control safety and sterilization standards. Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate sterilization records. Provide mentorship and training to sterile processing staff. Communicate effectively with surgical nursing and support teams to meet instrument and supply demands. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician. Active BLS and CRCST or CSPDT certification required. Strong organizational and leadership abilities with attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently and coordinate team operations during overnight hours. Knowledge of safety compliance and quality assurance protocols in a hospital environment. Assignment Details Unit Type: Central Sterile Processing Coordinator. Shift: 3rd Shift 11:00 PM 7:30 AM. Contract Length: 13 weeks. (Temp to Perm) Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week. On-Call: Not required. Pay: Competitive pay with sign-on bonus available. Pricing Negotiations: Permitted.
