Pride Health is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech) to support our client’s medical facility based in Gold Beach, OR 97444. This is a 26-week assignment with a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech)
Location: Gold Beach, OR 97444
Weekly blended pay: $2,050.00/week - $2,246.00/week
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday
Start date: 07/27/2026
Position Overview:
Curry Health Network is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech) to support surgical and clinical departments by performing:
Sterilization and decontamination of instruments and equipment
Instrument assembly, inspection, packaging, and distribution
Compliance with infection prevention and sterilization standards
Daily sterile processing duties with minimal supervision
The SPD Tech reports directly to the OR Director and should be comfortable working independently in a rural hospital environment.
Requirements:
Current Sterile Processing certification
Previous hospital sterile processing experience
Strong knowledge of:
Sterilization procedures
Decontamination processes
Surgical instrument assembly
Infection control standards
Ability to work independently
Lead SPD experience preferred but not required
