Stockroom Clerk at DEKA Research and Development

In need of a versatile individual with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Applicants mustbe self-sufficient in shipping, receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing stockroom materials. Applicant are be expected to interface with multiple teams and individuals throughout the company to ensure adequate communication and progress with assigned tasks.How you will make an impact:Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipmentExamine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipmentKit and verify production materials to shop ordersOrganize, label, count, inspect and perform clerical duties for stockroomAdhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory compliance proceduresMaintain shipping and receiving areaDeliver or route materials to other departments using material handling devicesSkills you need to be successful:1 year of experience in shipping & receiving andstockroom roles preferredMust have general computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsMust be detail, safety, and quality orientedAbility to proficiently learn, understand, and troubleshoot inventory management software/ERP systemWillingness to undertake various tasks and adapt to unexpected situations within dynamic company environmentMust be detail, safety, and quality orientedMust be able to lift 75lbs frequentlyExperience with medical device manufacturing or cleanroom environments a plusAbout DEKA:One hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
