Youll manage hardware and software ensure data protection resolve incidents and contribute to the implementation of new technologies and improvements. Collaboration is central to this role as youll work closely with other technical teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless secure and high-performing data storage solutions.Day to Day Key Responsibilities include:Support strategic storage management initiatives aligned with business goals.Maintain and monitor storage hardware/software ensuring optimal performance and security.Investigate and resolve incidents recommend fixes and implement preventative measures.Assess and implement changes based on business needs and management direction.Provide technical expertise in security controls risk assessments and incident response.Ensure ethical handling accessibility and integrity of business data.Offer expert guidance on storage tools methods and policy compliance.Build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders to deliver system improvements.About You:Some experience in developing and managing data storage systems.Familiarity with server environments (Windows Linux VMware ESX) storage platforms (NetApp Dell) and backup solutions (Commvault PPDM) is a plus.Strong planning and organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a technical setting.Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.High-level analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.About Monash UniversityAt Monash work feels different.
