Together we are highly passionate about what we do, and how we can help our clients.What you'll do here:Under general supervision and in accordance with established company policies and procedures, the Store Supervisor (SS) participates in the management activities (staffing, productivity, tax prep work, marketing) for one office / kiosk within an assigned district. This position has access to and regularly works with information of a sensitive, highly confidential nature, and regularly deals with diverse matters which require a working knowledge of the business.Supervises one or more seasonal hourly staff members at a single location or kioskCommunicates with the Manager on the status of recruiting, interviewing and hiring of seasonal employees for assigned locations when applicableMaximize customer service and increase salesPerforms administrative functionsDevelops, reviews, approves, and monitors office work schedules and hours workedMonitors associate performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problemsReviews productivity reports, discount reports, AAG, and other various reports and takes appropriate action where necessaryMaintains a comprehensible filing system for filing, acknowledged, rejected and complete tax returnsPrints client checks each morning and ensures timely distribution of refund checksFollows up with all void/hold tax return clients to persuade them to return to the office and file their tax returnSkills you'll bring for success:High School Degree or equivalent related business experienceCourse of study in management or in tax preparation and/or accounting preferredPrevious tax preparation experience and possess a PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)One year of previous management or supervisory experience desiredProficiency with a variety of computer software applications such as electronic mail, internet browser, Word, Excel, and accounting or tax preparation software
