Job Description
DescriptionThe Store Warehouser prepares and receives orders as well as moves stocks scans and records product inventory. This PART-TIME position is also expected to provide customer service and operate tinting mixing and color matching equipment as needed.The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #724369 located at: 912 University Lane Tuscaloosa AL 35401Job duties involve contact with customers which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods electronic equipment personal information store merchandise and other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys customers staff employees vendors contractors and the general public.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load pack wrap label ship)Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick unload label store)Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards highLoad and unload products from deliveriesRotate stock and pull product from the sales floor and stockroom as neededKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationComplete diary logs into inventoryReport any discrepanciesCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipmentFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures rules and regulationsSupport the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams storeEnsure that the stockroom is organizedOperate tinting mixing and color matching equipment as neededWhen necessary wait on customers to support store salesAssist in making deliveries as neededQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust be able with or without reasonable accommodation to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionMust be willing to work all scheduled hours which may include evenings and weekends with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications:Have at least a High School diploma or GEDHave a valid unrestricted Drivers LicenseHave at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit) pallet jacks hand trucks order pickers vacu-hoists drum dollies conveyor belts etc.)Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery retail or customer service positionHave previous work experience selling paint and paint related productsHave previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipmentAbility to read write comprehend and communicate in more than one languageAbility to read write comprehend and communicate in Spanish#SHWSales Key Skills Order Picking,Transportation Management,Inventory Control,Forklift,Taleo,Military Experience,Warehouse Experience,Warehouse Distribution Experience,Hi-Lo Experience,Reach Truck,Logistics,Aviation Experience Employment Type : Hourly Experience: years Vacancy: 1
