Need to post position ASAP and hire new employee upon departure of current employee to ensure seamless transition.Job SummaryFills daily orders or issues supply items from Main Storeroom to Department units. Sets up and delivers trucks todesignated areas; puts supplies away. Notifies manager of shortages/problems with quality or quantities. Accuratelyfills in requisition sheets.Receives perishable/non-perishable supplies from vendors. Takes temperature of perishable foods before acceptingdelivery. Promptly puts items into storage making sure food is rotated to minimize food waste/spoilage. Plans workschedule to prioritize prompt refrigeration of perishable items. Ensures that all food/non-food items are properlystored on pallets/carts. Monitors expiration dates of all products; notifies management of potential inventory lossdue to spoilage.
