The Business Models and Pricing team plays a critical role in driving long-term business growth by maximizing value-capture across the entire SAP product portfolio, accelerating customers' transition to the cloud, and unlocking the transformative power of AI. In close partnership with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams, we design Business Models and define Pricing strategies to expand revenue, grow share, accelerate cloud shift, and facilitate cross-sell.
Responsibilities
The Strategic Partner of Business Models and Pricing, reporting to the VP of Business Models and Pricing, is responsible for the following areas:
- Define the pricing, packaging, and licensing strategy for cross-portfolio SAP products and solutions, including security, encryption, data access, and cloud delivery options.
- Innovate pricing approach to motivate customer adoption and usage, not just purchase.
- Continually evaluate, learn, and adjust pricing strategy through a data-driven approach that draws on competitive analysis, market research, sales insights, and financial performance.
- Present, influence, and align executives and the broader organization through cross-functional collaboration.
Experience & Skillset
5+ years of experience in pricing/monetization, economics, strategy, and/or licensing in the commercial cloud applications and services space. Proven experience developing creative solutions to complex business problems. Ability to build trusted relationships across a large organization and influence a diverse set of stakeholders. Ability to breakdown and navigate complex topics through effective presentation and storytelling to secure alignment. Growth mindset and creative problem solver who thrives in an ever-changing environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication, particularly with executive audiences. Undergraduate Degree required; MBA preferred. CPP preferred.
