  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, sales, or enterprise sales, within the consumer electronics, messaging (e.g., providers or platforms), OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
  • Experience building a book of business.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in the messaging industry working directly with messaging providers (e.g., sinch, infobip, twilio, etc.), messaging platforms or brands (e.g., banks, airlines, ecommerce, etc.).
  • Experience leading events or participating in industry forums in collaboration with external partners.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product managers, communicating customer requirements, and presenting concepts to external partners and brands.
  • Ability to facilitate customer or partnership negotiations while navigating ambiguity around fast moving products, and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
  • Ability to build consensus and be adept at communicating/developing relationships at multiple levels, both external and internal, and cross-functionally.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business go-to-market (GTM) team sits within the Communications partnerships team and the Android and Business Communications (ABC) product area in Platform and Ecosystems product area. We work every day to help users, and enable partners and businesses to meaningfully connect on any RCS-enabled device. This team plays a critical role in both enhancing the Android ecosystem while unlocking business.

In this role, you will work with leading partners, large brands and cross-product area (xPA) teams to scale a safe, and helpful business messaging experience for RCS users in the US. You will also unlock business-generating use cases that differentiate the rich messaging ecosystem, improve the day-to-day experience of Android and iOS RCS users across US and create the foundation for a growing conversational commerce economy around RCS in partnership with knowledge and information product area and other product areas across Google.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute the US RCS GTM strategy to drive awareness and adoption, partnering with carrier Business Development (BD), Android partnerships, and cross-functional peers in Global Business Organization (GBO) and Knowledge and Information.
  • Engage top US brands to drive RCS adoption while working with local partners and cross-functional peers.
