Youll coach athletes through structured group workouts and 1-on-1 sessions, guiding them to improve their strength, speed, endurance, and overall performancesafely and effectively.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-energy group training sessions for youth and adultsPersonalize workouts by modifying exercises to meet individual needsMonitor athlete progress and provide regular feedback and encouragementEducate members on proper movement mechanics, injury prevention, and basic nutritionUphold safety standards and maintain a professional training environmentFoster relationships with every athlete to boost engagement and retentionBring energy, accountability, and leadership to every sessionWhat We're Looking ForExperience: 2+ years coaching in a strength & conditioning, group training, or personal training settingCertifications:Valid CPR/AED/First Aid certificationNCCA-accredited certification (e.g., NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, etc.)CSCS is preferredSports Background:Major plus if you have played competitive sports!Education: High school diploma + personal training certification(s)Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field is preferredSoft Skills: High-energy, passionate, coachable, strong communication, and team-first mindsetCompensationThis is an hourly, non-exempt position with pay rates based on the type of session being coached:Group Training Sessions: Paid at a competitive hourly ratePersonal Training Sessions: Higher hourly rate based on 1-on-1 instructionTeam Training: Variable rate based on contract and sizeIn addition to hourly pay, coaches are eligible for commission on personal training package sales and renewals, providing strong earning potential for those who excel in building client relationships and driving results.
