The Head Coach will join a high-energy, collaborative team of fitness professionals dedicated to bringing a motivating, world-class athletic experience to members. This position is primarily responsible for coaching group fitness classes and member retention by ensuring best-in-class service. This is a full time, in-person position, though work hours are flexible.D1 is an athletic-based group training facility for adults and youth athletes ages 7 and up with a mission of providing the best fitness philosophy and facility to its athletes, empowering them to improve themselves by efficiently and consistently reaching their fitness goals. Membership(s) for dependents will also be considered.Paid Time OffOpportunities for bonus pay associated with member retention.Job ResponsibilitiesBuilding and maintaining relationships with each D1 memberCoaching group workouts, personal training, and team classes (minimum 25-30 hours per week)Teach proper form, modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.Completing client assessments to align each member with the appropriate program.Supervision of Assistant Coaches - scheduling, coaching assessments and feedback, oversight of client assessments.QualificationsValid AED/CPR/First Aid certificationAt least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
