We work across the complete product lifecycle of Boeings commercial aircraft military aircraft rotorcraft space vehicles UAVs and advanced vehicle prototypes. Our highly capable engineers excel in a team environment of challenge and opportunity on multiple projectsand partnering with Boeing business units government customers global suppliers and universities to rapidly mature key technologies to production readiness.Your duties as an engineer will include (but are not limited to)Performs structural analysis using well defined analysis tools and methods to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specificationsParticipates in various test activities to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfiedDevelops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness quality and efficiency of the structural analysis processWorks in a collaborative team environment with the opportunity for frequent interaction with team members and mentorsGuides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment characteristics and performanceSupports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvementsInvestigates emerging technologies to develop future product designs to meet projected requirementsBasic Qualifications (Required)Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical Civil Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)Experience in structural analysisPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in structural analysis methods and tools such as Finite Element AnalysisAbility to adapt quickly to new projects and data sourcesAerospace Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree with courses in programmingExperience in programming languages such as PythonActive US security clearanceTravel10%Drug Free WorkplaceBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & BenefitsAt Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
