Growing firm with reputation that goes back over 50 years looking to add a talented Structural Engineer to their Peoria team! Responsibilities:Preliminary/final design for steel and concrete highway/pedestrian bridge designLayout/detailing of projects (prepare plans calculations and construction specifications)Supervise team members and coordinate project activitiesCoordinate bridge inspections and report preparationBuild/maintain client relationships assist with setting financial goals and identifying business development opportunitiesTrain/mentor junior staff Requirements:Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering6 years of structural design experiencePE License in Illinois or IndianaSE preferredProficient in MicroStationKnowledge of structural analysis softwareGeopak experience preferredExperience with preparing plans for Illinois and/or Illinois Tollway projectsUnderstanding AASHTO bridge design standardsFinite Element Modeling preferredBridge inspection experience (including 80 hour NHI inspection course) preferredSalary is commensurate with experience.
