Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAn industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for their Columbus team!Responsibilities:Coordinate structural design with consultantsCoordinate projects (Architects, clients, contractors)Build/maintain client relationshipsManage multiple projects at various stages in designPrepare project specificationsManage and assist staff with document productions in Revit/AutoCADUsing RISA, Tedds, or Enercalc, perform detailed design and analysis on projectsGravity (roof, floors, walls, foundations)Lateral (main Lateral load resisting elements + Components and Cladding)Perform cost estimation/value engineeringPerform site visit for observation and collecting existing informationRespond to RFIs, change orders, and permit commentsAssist with proposal writing/fee estimationPerform QA/QC on projectsReview shop drawings/inspection reportsMaintain project scheduleJob Requirements:BS in Structural Engineering8+ years of structural design experiencePE registration preferredAdvanced technical knowledge (Concrete, Steel, Wood, Masonry and Cold-form)Experience in mid-rise multifamily and commercial office building designProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Word/Excel)Familiar with building/material codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, NDS, AISI) Experience working on Industrial, Institutional, Higher Education, and K-12 projects preferredSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
