Security Sensitive Position?:YesHours of Work:TBDPosting Number:TSU203424Official TSU Title:STRUCTURAL TECHNICIAN - CARPENTERGrant Title:n/aJob Description Summary / TWC Summary:Under general supervision performs maintenance on building structural equipment to include but not limited to doors, door hardware, dry wall, wall framing systems, suspended ceilings, entry systems and floor covering systems. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:Detail-orientedProblem solving and decision makingEssential Duties Summary:Inspects building systems.Modify spaces with structural wall modification. Document’s discrepancies. Maintains building structure repairs. Maintains building equipment as required. Preforms recoating, paint, and drywall. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.% FTE:2Hiring Range:$26.46-$33.74Education:High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent preferred.Required Licensing/Certification:None required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:Procedures, Best Practices, and requirements.Routine, preventive, and corrective building maintenance.Requires some seasoning and experience beyond the entry level to conduct moderately complex work.
