Job Details Kalispell MT Part Time High School $13.00 - $14.00 Hourly Student - Work StudyJob Description DEPARTMENT AND LOCATION OF JOB:Information Technology Blake Hall FVCC Kalispell CampusELIGIBILITY:Students must be Work Study Eligible (as determined by Financial Aid)START DATE:This position will start Fall Semester 2025LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT:Academic Calendar Year 2025/2026WORK SCHEDULE:Flexible schedule between Monday and Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; may work up to 19 hours per week.DRESS CODE:Casual wear with appropriate coveragePOSITION PURPOSE/ROLE:Under minimal supervision supports the Education Computer LabsPOSITION DUTIES:Cleans and maintains cleanliness of computer lab environment;Assists the occasional student with their technical questionsSupplies and Maintains paper in printer; andMay perform other like duties as requested.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester andAbility to work under a minimal level of supervision and be self-motivated andPossesses basic computer skills andAbility to communicate effectively with students and employees andAbility to follow direction and proceduresSTUDENT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT:Communication critical thinking time management customer service professionalismPREDICTED OUTCOME: Practical competence effective communication critical thinking time management collaboration professionalismSTUDENT EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES:Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits for fall or spring semester to qualify for student employment.Students may not work beyond 19 hours per week during semester.Student workers shall be actively engaged; no use of cell phones (except in case of emergency) or social media.Student workers shall demonstrate a commitment to the job with adherence to work schedule effective communication/interpersonal skills and quality customer service skills to be a representative of FVCC.EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATIONS REFERENCE CHECKS AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS: Prior to offers of student employment FVCC may conduct thorough employment verifications and reference checks and may contact organizations and individuals not listed on an applicants application or resume.
