Requisition:202500431STTitle:Student Employee- Dept of Theatre and Musical Theatre- CAM Production TechnicianEmployee Class:Student WorkerCollege Work Study Position:NoDepartment:Dept of Theatre and Musical TheatreDivision:Division of Academic AffairsHours per week:15-20Hiring Rate:$8.00 per hourPreferred Student Classification:Sophomore or aboveNature & Purpose of Position:CAM Production Technicians serve primarily as student employees along side the CAM Production Team in the Scene Shop in the College of Arts & Media. Duties include carpentry, scenic painting, prop making, theatrical lighting, audio engineering and general shop and facility maintenance. These positions also are utilized for special event set up and tear down within CAM.Other Requirements for the Position:-Must be able to work collectively as part of a team.-Must be able to lift 50lbs., work at elevated heights, work in dark and tights spaces.-Must have completed THEA 1115.-Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher.-Must not have failed a class in your majored field.-Work attire requires fully closed-toed shoes and appropriate workplace environment attire.
