Student Intern, Maintenance at MTC Corrections

DescriptionSALARY $17.20 per hour*APPLICANT MUST BE A CURRENT JOB CORPS STUDENT*DescriptionReports to the facility maintenance manager or designee. Responsible for the completion of a wide variety of tasks to include keeping assigned areas clean and orderly in compliance with government and management directives.Essential Functions:MAINTENANCE/CUSTODIAN WORK:Cleaning floors bathrooms outside area and other duties as assigned in the building.Wash walls windows ceilings woodwork dust desks bookshelves cabinets and other office furnitureCollect and dispose of all trash litter and other debris on grounds streets and parking lots. Sweep and clean exterior steps entrances landings and sidewalks.Use basic cleaning compounds waxes and disinfectants as provided by supervision.Must be reliable and willing to work evenings and some weekends.Education and Experience Requirements:Must be a completer and ready for work-based learning.Must be at least 18 years of age.Qualified students will at a minimum have their student card.Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
