Main priorities in this role are:Develop relationships with students for discipleshipHelp integrate students into the ministry getting them connected with other students and their leadersLearn execute and evaluate ministry projectsAssist in creating summer programming that points students to Jesus and a welcoming environment where students can be known and belongPlan prep execute and lead ministry events (Camp serve trips worship nights summer kickoffs etc.)Engage in weekly service and leadership opportunities Learn to pastor students parents and volunteersWork with and learn how to develop teams of volunteers Teaching opportunities and weekly small group leadingFull engagement in Preston Trail staff and church culture QUALIFICATIONSMust have a strong and growing relationship with Jesus Aligns with Preston Trail mission beliefs and values ( have completed one year as a full-time college student by Summer 2026Must complete our assessment here within 2 business days of applyingCommitted to our team culture of Self-Leadership Positive Attitude Team Mindset Healthy Relationships and High PerformanceEither currently pursuing (or interested in learning more about) vocational ministryProven ability to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced task-shifting environmentWilling to take the initiative to ask questions and solicit feedbackCommitted to full time work for these 12 weeks including Sundays camp and other events as necessaryIf taking summer school classes only one 3-hour class allowedMaximum time off is 5 consecutive days if communicated before offer extendedORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS MINISTRY TEAM: Next Gen - PTSM REPORTS TO: PTSM EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATIONS Category: Temporary (12 weeks) employeeNumber of Hours: 40 hrs per weekMinisterial Classification: Ministerial ExceptionWeekends Required YesRemote NoPreston Trail Community Church At Preston Trail Community Church our mission is to help people find AND follow Jesus Christ.
