Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Archer School for Girls is seeking a skilled and experienced long-term substitute Fitness and Wellness teacher starting on January 5th, 2026 through the end of the school year. The position involves teaching Fitness and Human Development to middle school students using a student-centered approach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching 4-5 classes; serving as a mentor; and coaching a co-curricular sport. Interested candidates should have skill and experience teaching traditional and nontraditional sports/fitness, desire to support student wellness and well-being, and a commitment to empowering students with life-long healthy habits of mind.
