For additional information, please visit uncg.edu and follow UNCG on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit:UNC Greensboro supports students with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Education (CTPE) program while enrolled in Integrative Community Studies, a four-year certificate that emphasizes self-determination, life planning, and career development. Students completing requirements for graduation receive a certificate in Integrative Community Studies, awarded by the Office of the Provost at UNCG. The CTPE Office provides academic coursework and instruction; coordination and support with academic and student affairs units across campus; and direct 1:1 academic and student life support. Position Summary:This position will be 1:1 (peer to peer) student support for 15 hours per week with 5 hours per week of administrative support and/or planning/scheduling. This position works directly with students (with intellectual disabilities) enrolled in the Integrative Community Studies (ICS)/Beyond Academics Certificate program.
