This is their final classroom experience and occurs at the end of the program. The student teaching placement allows the Teacher Candidate to integrate coursework and prior field experiences while continuing to gain firsthand experience in a classroom setting that supports their licensure program.Essential Functions:Teacher Candidates will observe participate and teach in a classroom while being mentored and observed to support their professional development.The Teacher Candidate will take over the classroom for at least two weeks at the end of the semester. At that time with the assistance of the Cooperating Teacher the Teacher Candidate will be responsible for all lesson plans teaching and assignments.
