Job Details Kalispell MT Part Time High School $14.00 - $15.00 Hourly Student - Work StudyJob Description DEPARTMENT AND LOCATION OF JOB:Theatre Arts Arts & Technology 257 FVCC Kalispell CampusELIGIBILITY:Students must be Work Study Eligible (as determined by Financial Aid)LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT:Academic Calendar Year 2025/2026WORK SCHEDULE:Flexible schedule between Monday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Requires working some evenings andweekends during production. May work up to 19 hours per week.DRESS CODE:Casual black clothing with appropriate coverage; closed-toed footwear is requiredPOSITION PURPOSE/ROLE:Under minimal supervision supports the Theatre Arts Department production and/or supervisorPOSITION DUTIES:Performs design and/or design execution and technical production supportProvides Front of House/Running Crew support; andMay perform other like duties.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester andAbility to work with a minimal level of supervision and is self-motivated; andAbility to design and execute designs in specified area (lighting sound costumes etc.); andPossesses light construction skills; andPossess customer service skills; andAbility to problem-solving and follow directions; andPossesses a cooperative spirit in working with peers supervisors students and the publicPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Theatre courseworkExperience working in a theatreSTUDENT SKILL DEVELOPMENT: Communication skills facilities management critical thinking planning collaboration customer serviceleadership experience working with performing artists professionalismPREDICTED OUTCOME:Practical competence critical thinking collaboration communicating effectively customer serviceprofessionalismSTUDENT EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES:Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits for fall or spring semester to qualify for student employment.Students may not work beyond 19 hours per week during semester.Student workers shall be actively engaged; no use of cell phones (except in case of emergency) or social media.Student workers shall demonstrate a commitment to the job with adherence to work schedule effective communication/interpersonal skills and quality customer service skills to be a representative of FVCC.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: FVCC is an equal opportunity employer.
