The Studio Technician operates various equipment (camera audio visual graphics lighting or digital) used for production and/or transmission.Collaborate with the director and studio staff to coordinate the action in the studio or while out on locationCollaborate with the set designers to determine the needs of the productionBuild and decorate set and/or provide props used for productionAssist in the installation operation and maintenance of sound recording equipmentProvide camera and audio/lighting production support as needed and may work with outside production facilitiesAssist in digital media productions liaising with appropriate departmentsMaintains and stores equipment and studio maintenanceRequirements & Skills:High School Diploma RequiredExperience in television film or post production preferred Must be able to interact well with video journalists anchors videographers news managers production and engineering staffDetail orientedExcellent communication and organization skillsBasic computer knowledge including PhotoshopAbility to handle high stress environment with deadline pressuresThis is a Union position with min hourly rate: $43.50Required Experience:IC Key Skills Sales Experience,Customer Service,Google Docs,Management Experience,Millennium,Retail Sales,Data Management,Salon Software,MINDBODY,Sales Management,Leadership Experience,Yoga Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
