And we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience.Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.ResponsibilitiesWill provide direct substance abuse assessment intervention individual counseling group counseling and develop treatment plans education and consultation services toidentifiedclients family and support systems to promote recovery.Consult with in-house staff and other outside professionals toassurecomprehensive quality care for the client.Will provideclinicaldirect education observation support and training to counselors.Assistinarrangingforappropriate staffcoverage in all assigned areas.Assistin quality improvement activities and grant activities.Maintains a high standard of clinical integrity through supervision of staff as needed.Identifiesand recommends improvement opportunities and actively promotes andparticipatesin change processes.QualificationsEducation:Minimumof aBachelorsdegreein human services.License(s)/Certification(s):Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.Counselor Certification through the State of Iowaand/orIllinoisLicensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker within 2 years of employment in the state whereemployee isworking.Experience:Preference of 2 years of experience in the field of substanceabuse;or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the following knowledge abilities and skills.*Specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience skills internal equity and other business needs.
