We foster a supportive environment where both clients and staff can thrive, and were proud to be part of the recovery journey for so many in our community.Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team at our Emlenton location. In this role, you will provide clinical support to individuals in early recovery, facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help each client build a path to long-term recovery.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and formulate diagnostic impressionsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goalsFacilitate evidence-based group and individual therapy sessionsEducate and support families as part of the treatment processMaintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standardsParticipate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement effortsQualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related fieldCertification or licensure in Pennsylvania preferred (LPC, LCSW, CAADC, etc.)Minimum 1 year of experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral healthWorking knowledge of addiction theory, trauma-informed care, and recovery modelsStrong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
