Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20.00 to $27.00About usCompassionate Addiction Treatment (CAT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Spokane, WA. Our mission is to provide compassionate, holistic care to people suffering from substance use disorders in a safe and therapeutic environment. Focused on removing barriers to treatment, people will be empowered to engage in recovery and live life to their fullest potential.Bringing community connection to support the building of trust, hope and personal empowerment to people experiencing homelessness, combined with substance use disorder, are primary goals of CAT.Substance Use Disorder ProfessionalWe are seeking a new team member that is passionate about recovery, understands harm reduction in a treatment setting, and compassionate towards our most vulnerable community members.Compassionate Addiction Treatment is an innovative outpatient treatment center in downtown Spokane. We have a Recovery Community day program and support our clients in finding their own path to Recovery. Services provided are IOP/OP, Certified Peer Counselors, MAT, Employment Case Management, Housing Case Management, Wound Care, a 24 person recovery based scatter site shelter, and other services for our community members who are or have experienced homelessness.This position will perform SUD assessments according to ASAM criteria, and navigate individuals into care. This position will also include managing a caseload providing individual counseling, facilitating group therapy, education and lectures in an innovative, evidence based best practice and promising best practice Behavioral Health setting.CAT provides strong supportive training for SUDP-T's.Responsibilities:Conduct substance use disorder assessments based on ASAM criteria.Facilitate group therapy, education/lecture and counseling for individual sessions.Document treatment services providedComplete monthly mandatory reportingMaintain patient files and counselor case notes per WACMaintain professional ethics and program integrityKnowledge of state and federal law pertaining to client confidentialityAssist with intake and discharge procedures consistent with ASAM and DSMWork collaboratively with housing and employment case managers, certified peer counselors, medication assisted treatment team, outreach workers, reentry team, and shelter team as well as other community providersOptional:We value lived experience.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour DOEBenefits:Two Weeks Paid Vacation (80 hours)Paid HolidaysPaid Sick TimeMission-driven bonusesProfessional Development opportunitiesLifestyle spending accountQuarterly paid team training daysYearly license renewal paidSchedule:Monday - Friday (3 shifts 9am-5pm, 2 shifts 1pm-9pm)Education:Associate or Bachelor Degree or in process (Required)License/Certification:Washington State SUDP or SUDPT license (Required)Work Location: In person
