Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20/hourlySubstitute Preschool TeacherThe Child Development Center is looking for energetic, creative, and loving substitute teachers to join our teaching team. We are NAEYC accredited and a 4 Star Texas Rising Star preschool. As an established non-profit preschool, our primary focus is on children, families, and staff.The ideal candidate should:Have a love for children and the desire to make a difference in their livesHave a passion for creating a nurturing, safe, and supportive learning environment that is stimulating and conducive to learningMaintain a commitment to professionalismHave a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse teachers and administratorsDuties Include:Collaborating with other classroom Teachers and Education Directors to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that follows the standards for National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Texas Rising StarCommunication with families both verbal and writtenActively engaged with students and participating in classroom activities at all timesAssist teachers as neededQualifications:Preferred ~ 1+ years teaching experiencePreferred ~ CDA or Associates DegreeRequired ~ High School Diploma or GEDCandidates must meet all TDFPS requirements and must pass the appropriate background checkMust be able to lift/carry 20+ poundsGeneral computer proficiencyWe offer:Competitive Salary - Commensurate with Education and ExperienceLow Teacher/Student RatiosPaid Training OpportunitiesFree CDA certificationCPR/First Aid CertificationProfessional, friendly and fun work environmentPay: $20/hourly depending on experience and flexibility
