Monroe County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is seeking a professional full-time Aging Care Manager 3 to help us make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our community. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Aging Care Manager 3 will receive, review and confirm categories on reports of need and investigate according to the regulations of the Older Adults Protective Services Act. This position completes investigations within the appropriate time frame, develops a care plan and goals based on need and completes all necessary assessments and required documents. You will have the opportunity to provide community education and outreach to local facilities, agencies or groups on protective services and mandatory reporting requirements.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.Travel, overtime and after hours may be required.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as an Aging Care Manager 2 or Aging Program Assessor; orOne and one-half years of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience; and a bachelor's degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training which includes six months of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
